The Promask facemask is designed for use with Scott Safety's range of SCBA's for providing respiratory protection in toxic environments. The mask is a positive pressure mask and feature a Neoprene outer mask with reflex seal and Neoprene ori-nasal inner mask as well as a five-point fully adjustable rubber head harness. Additional right quick-fit port for Sabrecom 2 communications interface. • Right hand side quick-fit port for Sabrecom 2 communications interface The Scott Promask will accommodate a wide range of facial shapes and sizes. The mask is positive pressure and feature a Butyl Rubber (ProcompTM) outer mask with reflex seal and silicone ori-nasal inner mask. The facepiece visor is single curvature and made of a scratch and impact resistant polycarbonate material with a flame-retardant coating and provides excellent panoramic vision. The visor is held in place by two U-shaped clamps. The mask will allow the wearer to wear integrated spectacle frames, without compromising the facemask seal. The mask is with a two-point adjustable Polyester style harness. The facemask features a left hand side bayonet connection for the demand valve and an additional right quick-fit port to take a communications interface. Note, if a communications interface is not used with this mask configuration, a blank plug (Scott item 2001703/VIKING item 1047463) should be fitted in the quick-fit port before the mask is taken in use. A speech diaphragm is mounted at the front of the mask to offer unimpeded speech transmission and there is a low resistance positive pressure exhalation valve that allows for normal breathing with no extra effort. The mask is designed with separate inspiratory and expiratory paths to minimize the risk of cross contamination of second stage regulators.
